Mechanical Breakdown Insurance (MBI) is an insurance policy underwritten by the New Hampshire Insurance Company (NHIC) that will pay for mechanical repairs to your car much like collision insurance pays for body damage. Best of Iowa Community Credit Union is offering this extra benefit of MBI to our members. The policy eliminates the need to purchase an expensive manufacturer's extended warranty contract, yet gives the same level or better coverage at a lower cost. It can cover repairs for new cars and cars up to nine years old with up to 100,000 miles.
